Shipping, Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy (Tagwood BBQ)

- Who to contact first: For returns, cancellations, shipping issues, delivery damage, or warranty support, you are welcome to contact us first. We will help coordinate next steps and, when applicable, assist you with the manufacturer’s warranty process.
- Returns (15-day window): You have 15 days from the delivery date to request a return. To initiate a return, contact 786-376-7000 or info@tagwoodbbq.com.
- Return eligibility (must meet all conditions): Product must be unused, in excellent condition (no scratches, dents, or broken parts), and complete with no missing parts. Item must be returned in original packaging (original box for disassembled units, or wooden crate for assembled units). Returned items are inspected upon arrival at the warehouse before approval.
- Return costs & fees: Customer is responsible for original shipping cost and return shipping cost, plus any additional charges (including processor fees). Approved returns are refunded minus shipping (to and from), a 10% restocking fee, and a 5% processing fee, and returned to the original payment method.
- Cancellations / refunds before shipping: To cancel before shipping, contact 786-376-7000 or info@tagwoodbbq.com. A 5% cancellation fee applies (processor fee). If shipping has already been confirmed with the freight company, shipping charges will be deducted as well.
- Accessories are final sale: Accessories are non-refundable and non-returnable (made exclusively for Tagwood BBQ products and may be damaged in return transit).
- Freight delivery & damage inspection: Many grills ship by standard LTL freight and require a scheduled delivery appointment, a valid phone number, and an adult present to receive and sign. Before signing, inspect the packaging and product for visible damage. If there is any damage: take photos (packaging + product), note the damage on the delivery receipt/BOL before signing, keep all packaging, and contact us immediately so we can help coordinate the next steps.
- International orders: If international shipping is offered, transit time may be approximately 60 days by ocean freight (air quotes may be available). Custom duties, local charges, and taxes are not included in shipping quotes. A broker/agent may be required and must be provided by the customer prior to shipment.
- Warranty coverage (limited): Tagwood BBQ provides limited warranties by model, covering defects in materials and/or manufacturing from the invoice date, after verification by authorized technicians. Covered items may be repaired or replaced. Warranty is non-transferable and requires the purchase invoice.
  - 5-Year Limited Warranty: Applies to listed models (including: BBQ01SS, BBQ03SS, BBQ05SS, BBQ01SSB, BBQ02SS, BBQ03SSB, BBQ05SSB, BBQ06SS, BBQ08SS, BBQ12SS, BBQ22SS, BBQ26SS, BBQ28SS, BBQ04SS, BBQ23SS, BBQ24SS, BBQ25SS, BBQ27SS, BBQ33SS, BBQ37SS).
  - 3-Year Limited Warranty: Applies to BBQ02SI, BBQ09SS, BBQ07SS, BBQ12SI, BBQ18SS.
  - 2-Year Limited Warranty: Applies to BBQ03SI.
  - 1-Year Limited Warranty: Applies to BBQ45LI, BBQ45SF, BBQ60LI, BBQ60LF, BBQ60SF, BBQ18SI.
- What the warranty does NOT cover: Improper use, abuse, alterations, non-authorized repairs, improper assembly, accidents, corrosive agents, excessive load, ignoring the instruction manual, commercial/rental use, and normal wear and tear. Exclusions specifically include buyer’s remorse, rust/corrosion, scratches, oxidation, dents, and heat-related discoloration (some discoloration is normal and not covered). Incidental/consequential damages are excluded. Labor and re-installation costs are not covered.
- Warranty claim process: Email info@tagwoodbbq.com with subject line “warranty” and include: (1) photo of damaged part, (2) photo of invoice, (3) serial number (if applicable—often located under the table), and (4) a phone number for contact. Tagwood responds within 48 hours with next steps. Tagwood may inspect/assess the product and can deny claims deemed invalid. Tagwood covers shipping charges for warranted parts only.
- Important product notes (materials/maintenance): Product specifications/features/appearance may change without notice; actual items may vary slightly due to improvements/material/finish variations. 304 stainless steel is corrosion-resistant but can rust under certain conditions (e.g., chlorides/salt, harsh chemicals, scratches). Cold-rolled steel models (SI) can be prone to rust, especially around high-heat areas like the firebox; periodic sanding and high-temp rust-preventive paint are recommended. Keeping all screws tight is important for safety and performance.
